Hey There!
I'm Adrienne, Diaz, a painter and muralist based in Fresno, CA.

I have always been drawn to the arts. I remember drawing and painting as a kid and always wanting to do more with it. I was involved in music and dance classes and loved the feeling of creating in different forms.

I was born in the Coachella Valley in the California Desert. I draw a lot of inspiration from desert landscapes and the colors and hidden pockets of life and beauty that the sands hold in between the mountains.

I kept the creativity going into college and after by doing more crafts than art, but always taking the extra step to design my own patterns and pieces. I would always create my own knitting patterns and still do. I have an urge to just create the things I need or have the means to customize myself. There is just a satisfaction that comes with it.

In 2018, I decided to put more effort into developing my skills and style more. Since then, I have done commissions for community organizations and local businesses as well as individuals. My dominant medium is digital art, but I also use acrylics, pen and pencil, gouache, screen printing and block printing.

My most recent accomplishment is being accepted to create artwork for the Rebuild and Reimagine campaign led by Californians for Justice and Partners for the Future of Learning. My pieces along with other artists from across the state of California are being used in Education Justice campaigns trying to emphasize the importance of a transformative return to school after the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2023 I was chosen as the 2nd artist in residence for the Tanuja Bahal AiR Program through Planned Parenthood Mar Monte: a program that invigorates artist's who create work that support the ideals of reproductive justice.
Since then I have been involved in the larger Central Valley Art Community through my work on murals and as a part of the admin staff for CSU Summer Arts.
